Myth, Mark & Movement

This is a 6-month community storytelling journey where we intentionally come together to sit around the collective fire and be transported through ancient myths and tales. Humans have created and told stories for tens of thousands of years. Before verbal language became the dominant form of communication, humans told stories through painting, drawing, carving, movement and sound. We crave re-connection to this collective and expressive tapestry. There is a sense of belonging woven throughout these encounters.

Each month there will be a new story that we will explore through group sharing followed by mark-making and gentle intuitive movement practices to integrate. You are encouraged to continue to journey with the story through journalling and dream work between sessions bringing attention to the symbolic and archetypal in your own life. This is a 6-month commitment to support a safe and consistent container for us to dive deep into the realm of myth, story and symbol.
